Ooo I heard that The Lovely Bones was really good, I've been meaning to read it myself but haven't yet. Isn't it going to be made into a movie? Or did I just make that up lol.

I'm reading Guilty Pleasures now. its another vampire series. its kind of hard to get into because the character is a vampire hunter. and its not like twilight or blue bloods. more like Anne Rice books, if you get what im saying.

Hehe yeah. Last time, at the party for Half-Blood Prince I got three more books to this warrior cat series (don't make fun of me! Warrior cat series is awsome.) that I liked, and i finished the first one and half of the second one waiting in line!affraid It took forever for the line to get through...this time I'm arriving at 9:00 PM and finding the books right away and then planting my butt down at the begining of the line because I am NOT gonna wait for two and a half hours again!

you must do the waiting thing differently then when i was at mine. because i had pre-ordered the book, and if you did that you get a special card. and you go first to get your book. Twisted Evil it was awesome because we were the second group to get our books. and believe me, the book store was sooo crowded that you couldnt even move!
i bet its not going to be any better for this one since this is the last. Crying or Very sad

At the Border's near me, you didn't get to go first in line even if you pre-ordered it, so I just reserved a copy instead. But if you reserved a copy you got a 30% off cupon to use for the HP book or other stuff. Wink

I have no clue if I already said this...but I found this awsome new vampire series at Barns and Noble at the midnight party for HP and the Deathly Hallows. It is called The Vampire Diaries, and even though it was written in the early '90's, it is absolutely AMAZING!! It's so awsome, and in my opinion, EVEN BETTER THAN TWILIGHT!!! Very Happy

The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening and The Struggle

http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?z=y&EAN=9780061140976&itm=6 (this book is the first two books to the series combined into one)

There are two other books to this series, but I havn't read them yet. They are called The Vampire Diaries: The Fury and The Vampire Diaries: Dark Reunion.

This is the preface for The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening and The Struggle.

"Elena: the golden girl, the leader, the one who can have any boy she wants.

Stefan: brooding and mysterious, he seems to be the only one who can resist Elena, even as he struggles to protect her from the horrors that haunt his past.

Damon: sexy, dangerous, and driven by an urge for revenge against Stefan, the brother who betrayed him. Determined to have Elena, he'd kill to possess her.

Collected here in one volume for the first time, volumes one and two of The Vampire Diaries, the tale of two vampire brothers and the beautiful girl torn between them."

The reason I like these books better than the Twilight books is because there's a lot more action in them, and Elena, the girl, isn't as pitiful and helpless and Bella is. I'm NOT dissing Stephenie Meyer or her work, I absolutely love her! Shocked But, I just like The Vampire Diaries better.
And Damon, the bad boy of the quartet, is just so....yum! He's dangerous, hot, mysterious, unpredictable...and just everything. Even though he's the villan of the books, he's my favorite character. Wink
